Lady Gaga Stepped Out in Old Hollywood Look After Tony Bennett Show

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett gave New York City one final concert on August 5, and per Vulture, it was a night full of standing ovations, tons of emotions, and one very beautiful friendship between the pop star and the legendary crooner.

It was also a night for another of Gaga’s outstanding sartorial skills. She was seen leaving Radio City Music Hall wearing a shimmering Georges Hobeika gown. The dress’s plunging neckline and sequins with floral patterns.

She was joined by music director Michael Bearden as she stepped out in her glamorous look. This shiny number wasn’t her only show-stopping look on Thursday. She was also seen in this patterned Christopher John Rogers dress from the spring 2021 collection.

On late Friday night, she was also seen in a fitted pale yellow dress, complete with a baby pink purse:

The concerts, on August 3 and 5, were scheduled to tie in with Bennett’s 95th birthday. During the show, Gaga sang to honor him:

“Start spreading the news / it’s Tony Bennett’s birthday.” She added: “He’s my friend. He’s my musical companion. He’s the greatest singer in the whole world.”

As Vulture reports, the night might have featured the always lovely Gaga, but she made sure the night was about Bennett. When she sang “La Vie en Rose,” the Edith Piaf song she nailed in A Star Is Born (2018), she noted Bennett’s part in her relationship to the song:

“I never would have sang this song if Tony didn’t tell me to.”

When she sang “Someone to Watch Over Me,” she added it was written in 1926, the year of Bennett’s birth.
