Over the years, Grammy Award–winning singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette has curated an impressive collection of skincare products and regularly switches up her routine.
“I think grooming is a massive part of self-care,” she says. “Before I do it, I may feel kind of off. And then, as soon as I get into this ritual—if I have time—it does literally give me a boost, self-esteem-wise.”
In this episode of Go to Bed with Me, Morissette shares her latest go-to products, as well as her best tips for keeping skin hydrated.

Morissette begins by cleansing with Dr. Alkaitis’s Organic Purifying Facial Cleanser. “It’s one of those cleansers that when you do it and wash it off, your face squeaks ’cause it’s so clean,” she says. “I like squeak.”
She also applies the The Body Shop’s Camomile Gentle Eye Makeup Remover, which she has been using for the past 20 years. “Thankfully, it hasn’t been discontinued,” she adds.
Around once a month, the singer applies Cure’s Natural Aqua Gel—”when I feel my skin getting kind of ruddy, and I can literally feel the thickness of the dead skin on the top layer,” she says. The product helps exfoliate dead skin cells away.
