D’Corey will be auditioning for AGT season 18.

D’Corey’s audition will be shown during AGT’s season 18 premiere on May 30. NBC hasn’t released what D’Corey will be performing for his audition. In the photos released ahead of the premiere, D’Corey looks adorable in a cute suit jacket and green bow tie.

D’Corey is from Kentucky.

D’Corey lives in Louisville, Kentucky. He’s still in elementary school at James H. Bates Elementary School. When he was a third grader, his performance of the national anthem on the morning announcements went viral on social media.

D’Corey wrote a song about Breonna Taylor.

D’Corey penned the tribute song “Breonna Taylor” in honor of the late Louisville native. The song was released in 2022. Breonna was tragically shot by police in 2020 during a botched police raid. She was only 26 years old.

After his viral morning announcements moment, D’Corey has been staying booked and busy. He performed the national anthem at the Tennessee Titans game in 2022 and has been a part of Dionne Warwick’s “HITS The Musical” tour.

D’Corey has been a featured vocalist in movies.

D’Corey started singing when he was about 3 years old. In just 11 years, D’Corey already has some movie credits to his name. He was a featured vocalist in Sing 2 and The Loud House Movie!
