Kendall Jenner hasn’t explicitly confirmed that she’s dating NBA player Devin Booker after she sparked speculation over the past couple weeks. But she didn’t exactly kill the rumor yesterday when she went out, alone with just him, and was photographed by paparazzi for the first time. The two were doing a relatively domestic activity, stopping at the pet store in Malibu to buy supplies for Booker’s dog, who was with them. They both wore masks, following California’s mask guidelines.
Jenner was dressed in a white crop top and high-waist shorts. Booker wore a green hoodie and black shorts. The outing comes just two days after Jenner was photographed with Booker and her sister Kylie Jenner on a Saturday night while out to dinner at Nobu Malibu. Jenner did not wear a mask then.
She and Booker also had a relatively flirty Instagram exchange days prior, which initially sparked the dating speculation. The two have been spending time together throughout the pandemic. When Jenner first broke California’s non-essential travel ban, she and Booker had taken a road trip to Arizona together.
A source told TMZ that they weren’t dating then. “Kendall and friends have a small social circle amongst the group, who have been following the same social distancing and physical distancing guidelines,” the source said. “Devin is a friend and is part of the small group. They took a road trip for some much-needed air.”
Entertainment Tonight was told in May that Booker and Jenner weren’t involved romantically at that point either. The outlet’s source said that Jenner and Booker are “absolutely not dating” or “hooking up.”
Jenner commented once on the dating speculation surrounding her and Booker, back in April. When someone on Twitter poked fun at Jenner dating so many NBA players, as if they were passing her around (another user wrote back, “Maybe she passing them around,”), Jenner tweeted, “they act like i’m not in full control of where i throw this cooch.”
