Jennifer Lopez is in her romantic throwback era now that she has reunited with, and married, the love of her life, Ben Affleck.
The multi-hyphenate is getting ready to release her album This Is Me… Now, a new take on her 2002 album, This Is Me… Then, which she wrote during her early-2000s romance with Affleck. And as fans prepare to get a glimpse of Lopez and Affleck’s love story today, two decades in, Lopez announced she is also hoping to bring back another of her and Affleck’s biggest pop culture moments: the film Gigli.
In a new interview, the singer and actress was asked which of her movies she thinks deserves a sequel. "Gigli," she replied.
Lopez and Affleck were costars and onscreen lovers in the 2003 crime romance (which got pretty disappointing reviews), but shortly after its release, they called off their engagement and split. In a recent talk with Zane Lowe for Apple Music, Lopez called the breakup the "biggest heartbreak of [her] life."

Also in her recent interview, the Marry Me star revealed who makes her laugh the most in between takes on set. "My husband, Ben," she said.
And her praise for Affleck didn’t end there. When asked which track from her 2002 album is her favorite, she said, "Dear Ben." The singer’s upcoming album, This Is Me… Now, also includes a follow-up to the iconic track, titled "Dear Ben Part 2."
Lopez and Affleck reunited in 2021, about 20 years after their split, and married this summer.
