The gathering served as a chance for relaxed interaction within the business sector.
On October 17th, the concluding night of the Kyiv International Economic Forum 2025 was hosted at the Edem Resort on the outskirts of the city — an occasion that has been gathering together business magnates, officials, financiers, the public, and global specialists to discuss the advancement of Ukraine for more than ten years.
This year’s event, the eleventh sequentially, took place the previous day in Kyiv under the heading “Ukraine 2.0: The Power of People” — focusing on the essential function of human capability as a significant factor in the nation’s strength and growth during challenging times. It was this concept that shaped the foundation of the evening — a pleasant, casual get-together following an intense day of dialogue in Kyiv. The planners aimed to express it through a blend of artistic expression, dialogue, and a sense of togetherness.
Attendees were welcomed into the Edem Resort space accompanied by the music of DJ Iryna Rozumna. Participants exchanged their opinions regarding the forum, discussed collaborations and concepts for upcoming endeavors — the night turned into an opportunity for informal socializing within the business world.
The highlight was the ballet presentation featuring newspapers THE POWER OF PEOPLE — a special edition developed by the forum’s conveners. It gathered the accounts of Ukrainians who persist in creating, working, and aiding one another even amidst the war. The dancers materialized amongst the attendees — quietly, with newspapers at hand, distributing them, navigating through the crowd. These constituted elements of the performance akin to European happenings Freedom Ballet, which communicated the core message of the evening — the resilience of individuals who persevere and proceed to innovate despite obstacles.
Following the artistic segment, a showcase by vocalist Marta Adamchuk ensued, serving as an impactful high point of the night. The evening came to a close with a lounge arrangement by DJ Rozumna, fostering an environment of relaxed interaction and unwinding.
The KIEF evening at Edem Resort encapsulated the central theme of the forum — at the heart of all transformations are individuals who take action, motivate, and propel Ukraine ahead.
