Hailey Bieber put a modern twist on ’90s teen film icon Cher from Clueless in Santa Monica last night, stepping out in an Alessandra Rich purple tweed plaid blazer and skirt set and Miu Miu loafers. She added a sheer black bodysuit by Sami Miro Vintage and a Prada purse for good measure. The model wore the ensemble to celeb hotspot restaurant Giorgio Baldi, where she had dinner with a friend. Her husband, Justin, skipped the outing this time.

Hailey spoke to ELLE last February about her personal style and why she likes pairing designer clothes with streetwear. “I love mixing the two,” she said. “I think you can be comfortable and still look cool and chic at the same time.”
She added that she initially got into modeling in her late teens as a way into the fashion industry. “I wanted to maybe go to FIT and learn about design,” she said of her initial career aspirations. “In another life, I would have also loved to be a doctor. I’m interested in neuroscience; I love learning about the brain.”
Hailey’s dream of creating her own clothing line was still an aspiration of hers in February 2020. “I also want to create comfy athleisure,” she said. “I love what Rihanna is doing. I think she’s incredible, and her line is great. I also love the Olsen twins. I’ve been a fan since the days of Passport to Paris. It’s the same kind of thing I want to do—make stuff for myself, and if people gravitate toward it, brilliant.”
