Ariana Grande Posts First Tribute to Boyfriend Dalton Gomez

Ariana Grande initially kept her relationship with Los Angeles real estate agent Dalton Gomez private for months. Then she made it public when she released her “Stuck With U” music video with Justin Bieber in early May, which featured footage of her and Gomez kissing. Grande hasn’t posted much about Gomez in the weeks since, but last night, she gave him his clearest shoutout yet on her Instagram. Grande isn’t having Gomez wear hoods obscuring his face anymore, like he did in the “Stuck With U” music video.

Grande shared multiple Instagram Stories featuring Gomez helping her shoot her Chromatica Weather Girls short. He even appears in the short, creating the “rain” falling on Grande and her Weather Channel umbrella.

Grande and Gomez started dating in the winter. TMZ reported in March that they had been together for “several months now.” A source told People on March 25 that they’re quarantining together during the COVID-19 outbreak. “One of the people she is with right now is Dalton—they have been hanging out for a couple of months,” the outlet’s source said. “Ariana doesn’t want to do another public relationship so she is trying to keep this one quiet, but she seems very happy with Dalton.”

Grande herself explained in an April Instagram Story that she was purposely trying to keep her relationships more private because of the internet’s past criticism of her love life. “Sharing special, personal life things that make u happy on the internet can be truly traumatic,” Grande said. “I know I’ve taken a step back from doing so to protect my loved ones and myself.”
