A warm day with family and friends
The Duchess of Sussex is increasingly sharing details from her life with her fans. On her Instagram, she posts photos with her children, talks about warm moments with Prince Harry, and highlights her professional activities in every possible way.
So, in honor of her birthday, which took place on August 4, Meghan Markle published a photo from a private celebration with family and friends. In it, she blows out the candles on a large flower cake while sitting at the Funke restaurant in Los Angeles.
“Blowing out the candles after a beautiful 24 hours and thanking my husband, friends and family for making this day so special. To those of you who I don't know personally but who send your love every day – thank you so much. Know that I feel it and appreciate it so much,” the Duchess of Sussex wrote.

In addition, Meghan Markle shared her own recommendation for the venue where she held the celebration.
“And a little about the food… Last night's dinner at Funke, thanks to the culinary skills of Evan Funke and his team, was one of the top five meals of my life. Incredible! Thank you for an exceptional gastronomic experience,” Megan added.
Markle previously talked about a tradition she's been maintaining with Prince Harry for nine years — baking cupcakes for Independence Day on July 4. The duchess posted photos of the sweets she and her family made for this year's celebration and accompanied them with an old photo of a cupcake her lover gave her in 2016.
