Tatcha’s global director of artistry and education shares all his beauty favorites.
Daniel Martin is no stranger to the ins and outs of skin care. As a longtime celebrity and royal makeup artist, and as Tatcha’s first-ever global director of artistry and education, he’s undoubtedly a bona fide expert when it comes to all things beauty.
“My work is so much about skin and taking care of skin, it’s never about a crazy eye or crazy lip or anything funky,” he previously told BAZAAR.com. “It’s about the appreciation of skin and using color as the accessory to skin. It’s always been in my DNA.”
Read on for a partial breakdown of his nightly skin care routine and shop his favorite products below.

To start off, Martin uses The Body Exfoliator by Nécessaire. “I discovered it’s an amazing pre-shave for me, for my bald-ass head,” he says.
For a cleanser, Martin is currently using Tatcha’s The Rice Wash Skin-Softening Cleanser. “It turns into this really beautiful cream cleanser that doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. It doesn’t strip your skin,” he adds.
Martin also uses masks up to two to three times a week. Currently, he’s a fan of the Violet-C Radiance Mask by Tatcha, which he says helps brighten his skin.
