Kate Middleton ended her first day in Ireland wearing the most glitzy of dresses to an evening reception at Guinness Storehouse’s Gravity Bar. The Duchess of Cambridge chose a piece by The Vampire’s Wife. The metallic emerald dress is roughly $2,000 (£1,595.00). Kate wore her hair down for the night, accessorizing with Manolo Blahnik pumps and dangle earrings.
Kate’s evening look comes after the Duchess arrived at Dublin Airport wearing an emerald Catherine Walker coat with a lime green Alessandra Rich print dress. She accessorized with a black padded headband.
Kate and William are in Ireland from March 3 to 5 on their royal tour. Ahead of their visit, the Palace announced their trip will “focus on the relationship between [the UK and Ireland], and build on the theme of remembrance and reconciliation.” The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be visiting Dublin, County Meath, County Kildare, and Galway during their stay.
Once they return to London, Kate and William will be out again with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on Monday. The four will attend the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey with the Queen and other senior royal family members.
This week will be busy for Meghan and Harry too, who are back in England doing their last engagements as full-time working royal family members. Their transition out of their senior royal family roles will begin on March 31. The couple will likely continue to attend major family events such as Trooping the Colour (the Queen’s birthday celebration) and Princess Beatrice’s wedding in May.
