On Saturday, the 6th of April, at the Center for Daily Mystery M17, Ukrainian photographers Elena Subach, Ira Lupu, Anya Brudna and the creative director of Vogue Ukraine Marta Bertman will hold a public demonstration “Seeing the present and the future” in between the photo exhibition FUTURESPECTIVE. At the hour of public discussion, as a modern editor of the “Culture” section of Vogue Ukraine Daria Slobodyanyk, mystique speaks about sensitivity, physicality and how war changes optics.
Guess what, the exhibition of current Ukrainian art and fashion photography is FUTURESPECTIVE, to which the work of 39 authors – well-known mitsians and new names – has progressed until the end of the spring.

“Artists/artists”: a beneficial art pop-up on Kudryavtsi

The cultural space of Kudryavka brings together 68 mitits to help artists who are creating Ukraine. On the 6th of April nen the Charity Pop-Up “Artists/for artists” will take place. This is a strong initiative of the Kudryavka team (Olga Pilipenko, Christina Lebed and Anastasia Danilyuk), sculptor Pyotr Gronsky and artist Vitaly Kravets, curator Svetlana Starostenko and the huge activist Natalia Osadchoi. At once they received 68 Ukrainian mits, who donated their creations for a beneficial mission, among them Nazar Bilik, Vlada Ralko, Roman Mikhailov, Oleksiy Say, Yuriy Sivirin, Masha Shubina, Lesya Khomenko.
Limited prints designed and signed by the authors can be accepted as a courtesy contribution.
100% of the collected funds will go to support the 2nd battalion of the 5th Separate Brigade of the ZSU, where they will serve as sculptors Vitaliy Protosenya and Illya Novgorodov.
Film “Antarctica”

A wistful documentary film by Anton Ptushkin, which tells about the life and work of the participants of the 30th Ukrainian Antarctic Expedition at the Academician Vernadsky station. The film shows the life of polar explorers, their interaction with the nature of Antarctica, observation of the local fauna, as well as scientific research, including climate change. Anton Ptushkin knew not only how the participants of the expedition reached Antarctica, but also their life at the station for one life at the birch rock. In his words, this is the most valuable material to work on.

This autumn, the Ukrainian House will host an exhibition of one of the most famous Ukrainian photographers, Oleksandr Glyadelov. The exhibition consists of 323 photographs taken by him in Ukraine over the past 35 years. In the world, the collapse of the Radyansky Union and the creation of Ukrainian independence, the crisis of the 1990s, the rise of the Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Hydnost, the tragedy of the Russian-Ukrainian wars and full-scale stages. The author’s series “Children of the Street” will also be presented.

This weekend in Kiev for the first time there will be a “Charter Fest”, organized by the Charter brigade, where Serhiy Zhadan will serve. The program includes performances by prominent Ukrainian musicians, as well as a lecture program from Radio Charter. So, on Saturday, the 6th of Sunday, the guests will be greeted with: “Zhadan and Dogs”, alyona alyona, “Faktichno Sami”, “TUCHA”, Maria Kvitka, NAZVA and “Krikhitka”. And this week, on the 7th of Wednesday: “Kurgan & Agregat”, SKOFKA, LATEXFAUNA, “Dead Song” and “Hamerman Knows Viruses”. All the money received will go to the needs of our brigade.
