Where to go during the weekend in Kiev: 1st and 2nd leaf fall 2025

Leaf fall has quietly crept up on its lingering boards and gray weather, which can be rolled out from the bark, and even this weekend in Kiev there will be a number of useful springs – such as important exhibitions before full-fledged music festival. We've collected five ideas for where to go in the capital this weekend.

Exhibition “Ukraine at the Worldwide Exhibition EXPO 2025”

After six months in Japan, the Ukrainian pavilion “Not For Sale” is returning home. In two years, the Ukrainian House will become a place where you can see an exhibition that has collected over three million people and won two cities in the categories “Best Activation or Engagement” and “Exhibition Design”.

The concept of the Ukrainian pavilion at EXPO is “a store where you can’t buy anything.” The exhibits included 18 objects that symbolize democratic values: freedom of speech, the right to choice, humanity, and so on—those that lie at the basis of whatever may happen. The skin contains a barcode, which can be read by dispensers using special store scanners. After this, instead of prices, video stories from Ukraine appear on the screen to show the current “price” that Ukrainians will pay in the future. After the completion of EXPO, the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine brings the project to Ukraine.
