Film-opening
The 82nd Venice Film Festival is presented by Italian director Paolo Sorrentino with his new film La grazia (“Grace”). The world premiere will take place on the 27th of September.

Sorrentino’s new page talks about the famous President of Italy, Mariano De Santis. Vin is a legal expert in the field of criminal law, a middle-aged man who fathered two children. As his presidential term reaches its end, there are no longer any moral dilemmas, as the Catholic DeSantis worries about what to do with petitions for the pardon of the two murderers and how to praise the problematic law about euthanasia.
The main roles in the film were played by Toni Servillo (“Great Beauty”, “Hand of God”) and Anna Ferzetti. We remember that last year at the Venice Film Festival the front page of Sorrentino’s “Partenope” was presented.
Zirkov premieres
Why is it that the program of the Venice Film Festival will include a large number of big-screen film premieres. Thus, the competition has a new sci-fi comedy “Bugonia” by Yorgos Lanthimos, starring Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons. One of the greatest premieres is the long-running adaptation of Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein with a stellar cast: Jacob Elordi in the role of Frankenstein's monster, Christoph Waltz as Dr. Frankenstein, as well as Mia Goth, Oscar Isaac, Felix Kammerer.

Another brilliant director in the festival program is the Italian Luca Guadagnino, and Julia Roberts played the leading role in his film “After the Waterfall”.
George Clooney, Adam Sandler, Laura Dern and Riley Keogh – a rich cast of actors is evident in Noah Baumbach's film. The director seems to be making a film about growing up: behind the plot, the leading actor Jay Kelly (George Clooney) and his manager Ron (Adam Sandler) are crashing on the roads of Europe. Both heroes will have to rethink their life decisions, stay with loved ones and grow up.

Cate Blanchett and Vicky Chris play the leading roles in Jim Jarmusch's new film “Father, Mother, Sister, Brother.” The page is conceived as a triptych – three separate stories about the struggles between adult children and their other fathers (and one of them), as well as between the children themselves.
Documentary debut of Sofia Coppoli
Pose between the competition, 1st spring, there will be a light premiere of Sofia Coppoli's documentary Marc by Sofia. This film is an intimate portrait of the director’s friend, designer Marc Jacobs. According to Coppoli, she wanted to “create an intimate and unique portrait of a friend who knows thirty rocks, designer Marc Jacobs, and show his influence on the current and future fashion and culture.”

For the 54-river Sofia Coppoli, who gave us such scenes as “The Self-Destructive Women”, “Difficult Translation” and “Maria Anutanetta”, the film Marc by Sofia will become a documentary debut. Sofia Coppola and Marc Jacobs looked back at the beginning of the 2000s, since the director was involved in the campaign for her Marc Jacobs fragrance. In 2015, Coppola was one of the faces of the Louis Vuitton handbags advertising campaign, which Jacobs worked on as creative director.
Ukraine at the Venice Film Festival
In the program of the International Short Film Competition of the Venice Festival “Horizons” the film “Inaccessible” by Kiril Zemlyanoy will be shown. This is the only Ukrainian film at the film festival near Venice.
“Unavailable” is a cautious, subtly constrained inner light of a young lad who spends his days volunteering. So if the connection from the mother that was lost in the occupied territory, Rapto knows, the silence step by step changes everything – this is how to describe the film from the production company “Currently Ukrainian Cinema”.
At the Venice Film Festival they will also show a scene featuring one of the most famous Ukrainians in the world – boxer and absolute champion of the world Oleksandr Usyk. This sports drama is The Smashing Machine (“Unbreakable”) directed by Benny Safdie, which tells the story of the American MMA fighter Mark Kerr. The lead role is played by Dwayne Johnson, and Oleksandr Usyk plays his rival – the Ukrainian mixed martial arts fighter Igor Vovchanin. Mark Kerr and Vovchanin fought in the ring for two years – in 1999 and 2000, and once again defeated Vovchanin.
The trailer for the film “Unbreakable” has accumulated over 20 million views in two months – so, the effect of the sporty look is upon us.
