On October 2nd, the IENKI IENKI space was the venue for the unveiling of the brand’s eagerly anticipated fresh assortment. The central concept highlighted nature’s majesty and inherent vulnerability simultaneously. Dmytro Yevenko, the brand’s originator, has been delving into its diverse aspects for several seasons running—spanning from the severe allure of Antarctica to the scenic beauty of peaks adorned with snow.

The representation was principally symbolized by an expansive display of a thawing glacier, realized by artist Bohdana Kosmina, who this year acted as the architect and curator for the Ukrainian Pavilion initiative at the Venice Biennale.
During the course of the evening, the documentary “CRYING GLACIER” from German sound artist and researcher Ludwig Berger was displayed on the screens. He investigates the auditory reflection from natural occurrences and documents the sound emanating from the melting of the Morterach glacier residing in the Swiss Alps, setting recording equipment in the ice fissures to capture each echo. The louder the glacier, the quicker the thaw. The snaps, cracks and undulations constitute the voice of temporality. Berger elucidates the significance of heeding the surrounding environment. Both Bohdana Kosmina and Berger make apparent through their works the fundamental consonance underlining the multifaceted processes within our world: “All of the diminutive air pockets released amid the melting of a century-old, or conceivably a millennium-old glacier, just burst and cease to exist,” Ludwig shares.
The apex of the evening consisted of the showcasing of the new IENKI IENKI assortment within the showroom’s courtyard. Beneath projections of melting glacier footage, models unveiled looks styled by Nadiya Shapoval. Specifically for the show, musician Gosha Babansky conceived a two-act electronic composition, which organically accented the aura around the frozen structure and the fresh collection. The brand, in effect, conceived an artistic arena where fashion engaged in discourse with climatic operations and the sensation of universal transformation.
The evening’s honored guest was mountaineer Antonina Samoilova, for whom IENKI IENKI engineered a high-altitude suit designed for ascending the world’s tallest summits. A distinct display of it was showcased in the showroom – thus the brand underscored its unparalleled made-to-measure direction Altitude Atelier, which the brand shapes for those scaling the peaks.
