What’s Selena Gomez’s Natural Hair Look Like? – Selena Shows Off Wavy Hair in Quarantine

Selena Gomez plays with hair length and bangs often for events. But in quarantine, the singer gave a rare look at her hair without the extensions, straightening, or heavy styling. Gomez posted a photo of herself in Rare Beauty products, flaunting her wavy natural hair texture and big voluminous curls. “I had an urge to put my make up on,” Gomez wrote. “My papa noticed then proceeded to ask ‘why do you look like that?’ He whistled as he walked away. So there’s that. Wearing all @rarebeauty 😉💋”

Gomez’s Rare Beauty line was announced earlier this year, with a tentative summer launch for Sephora then. Rare Beauty hasn’t given a specific launch date amid the coronavirus pandemic, but the team has made clear on its Instagram that they are very much still working. “While our office is closed and our team is working remotely, stay tuned here for more ways we’ll be connecting with you and continue building this community together,” Rare Beauty shared on its Instagram in March. “Stay safe! 💖 #WeAreRare”

Gomez most recently participated in Facebook’s #Graduation2020 event Friday, where the singer gave practical life advice to high school and college grads.

She said:

When people ask me if there’s something that I would tell my younger self, I always said, ‘Go ahead and do it.’ You all have worked incredibly hard to get to this point, and I know it’s not exactly how you’d imagine your graduations would look like, but I want to say it’s okay not to know what you want to do with the rest of your life. It’s a journey to find your direction or your passion so don’t get frustrated by the mistakes and setbacks, as they happen to all of us. The amazing Oprah, like she said, ‘you don’t become what you want, you become what you believe,’ and I think that really resonates as if you don’t believe in yourself, don’t expect others to believe in your abilities. Hopefully, you know, when large gatherings are allowed, everybody can get together and celebrate the important achievement but until then stay safe, stay connected with your friends and your loved ones, and congratulations for this milestone!
