Taylor Swift’s first major red carpet of her 30s is upon us. The singer stepped out for the Cats premiere tonight in New York City. Swift plays Bombalurina in the film adaptation of the famous musical. How did Swift dress? Well, she leaned fully into the occasion, wearing a strapless red silk floral dress. Her hair was up.
Swift has been in New York City the past couple days. She played iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball in the city on her actual birthday, December 13, then had a holiday-themed 30th birthday party with her friends. Guests included Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively, Camila Cabello, Halsey, and more. Swift shared some photos of them together.
“Honestly spending my 30th with the fans who have made my life what it is at jingle ball, then throwing the most aggressive holiday party known to womankind… I just.. seriously feel so lucky for you all and will spend forever trying to find ways to say thank you. *cries in Christmas tree*,” Swift captioned one of her posts of party pics.
Christmas is Swift’s favorite holiday. She spoke to ELLE Taiwan in 2015 about how much she loves the day. “Christmas is my most anticipated holiday,” she started. “When Christmas is over, I’ll start the countdown to see how long it is before the next Christmas. In September, I’ll begin to celebrate Christmas by buying gifts for my friends, decorating the house, like if Christmas has come early. I am fascinated by this holiday, I grew up in a Christmas tree farm, so I like the spirit.”
