Serena Williams won her match against Sloane Stephens at the U.S. Open on Saturday in a stadium that, because of COVID-19, was mostly empty. But there were two very important fans there to cheer her on: Williams’s husband, Alexis Ohanian, and their 3-year-old daughter, Olympia, were their own very robust fan section.
“I hope she saw her mama fighting,” Williams told a reporter after her match. “I don’t think she was paying attention. She may have been playing with some princesses upstairs.”
