See Meghan Markle’s Off-Duty Style in ‘The Me You Can’t See’ Trailer

Meghan Markle gave us a very rare look at her casual style during a surprise appearance in the trailer for Prince Harry and Oprah’s Apple TV mental health docuseries, The Me You Can’t See. In the cameo, the Duchess wore a “Raising the Future” Mère Soeur t-shirt and Lorraine Schwartz earrings, as identified by the Meghan Markle fashion account Meghan’s Mirror. The couple’s son, Archie, also appears in the trailer, albeit at the end and in a clip already released by the couple for Archie’s first birthday. Meghan appears again, reading to Archie in the footage.

While Meghan spoke to Oprah earlier this year about her mental health struggles while working for the British royal family, Meghan is not one of the subjects of the documentary series. Prince Harry is, though, along with Lady Gaga, Oprah, and more people from around the world. The show will focus on their mental health journeys. The trailer can be viewed above.

Harry opened up last week about how Meghan inspired him to get help and begin therapy. Harry told Dax Shepard during his appearance on Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast about the moment he knew he needed to see a therapist. He said:

It was a conversation that I had with my now wife [Meghan]. And she saw it. She saw it straight away. She could tell that I was hurting and that some of the stuff that was out of my control was making me really angry and it would make my blood boil. You have that fire. It’s not a temper, it’s a fire. I’ve never screamed. I’ve never shouted. For me, the best way of letting out the aggression is through boxing. But for me, prior to meeting Meghan, it was very much a case of certainly, connected to the media, that anger and frustration of this is so unjust. Not, by the way, just about me but all this stuff that I was seeing. Helplessness [that I feel], that’s my biggest Achilles heel. The three major times I felt completely helpless: one when I was a kid in the back of the car with my mum being chased by paparazzi, two was in Afghanistan in an Apache helicopter, and then the third one was with my wife. Those were the moments in my life where yeah, feeling helpless hurts. It really hurts.
