Kate Middleton and Prince William are enjoying their Easter Sunday at home—as are many households around the world right now. The couple shared a sweet photo of the exterior of their Kensington Palace home. “Wishing you all a safe and happy Easter 🐰🐣 #StayHomeSaveLives,” they wrote next to the photo of the home, which is surrounded by daffodils in the image.
The couple has been doing their best to keep U.K. residents, especially the country’s youngest people, in good spirits right now. Last week, Kate and William talked with some students from Casterton Primary Academy on a Zoom video call.
“In conversation with…Casterton Primary Academy,” the Kensington Palace Instagram reads. “Teachers across the U.K .are dedicating their time to keeping schools open for the children of key workers and vulnerable children. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge called teachers and school staff at Casterton Primary Academy to thank them for their hard work and dedication— and to wish the children a very Happy Easter 🐣”
“Hi, guys!,” Kate and Will said while they giggled and met their new friends. “I’m Catherine, and this is William next to me,” Kate said, endearingly, to the kids, who were wearing bunny ears in the video. They praised the children’s paintings and chatted to the kiddos who seemed happy to be making some new pals.
In late March, the royal couple posted on Instagram that they are still working closely with their charities and doing what they can to help right now.
“Self-isolation and social distancing can pose huge challenges to our mental health—in recent weeks The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been in regular contact with organizations and patronages to understand the issues they are facing during this difficult time,” Kensington Palace shared on Instagram at the time.
The couple also shared a couple other rare photos of their home in this post. Everyone has their work-from-home setup now, and Kate and William are no exception. Royal or not, stay safe and stay home.
