Gigi Hadid has shared glimpses inside her daughter’s nursery before and shots here and there of herself during the later stages of her pregnancy, but for the first time last night, Hadid posted an intimate selfie from the the night before she went into labor. The model also gave a full nursery tour on her Instagram, showing the room in full and all its toys, books, artsy touches, and decorations.
“The night before I went into labor,” Hadid captioned her first photo, the selfie of herself during her pregnancy:
In her second, she shared a shot of herself from “about a week before” she gave birth. “Decorating and spending time in her nursery really helped me feel prepared when I would get too in my head ;)” she wrote.
She then shared three shots of just the nursery and its decorations. On the shot of its massive book shelf, she wrote, “So many friends sent their favorite books.”
Hadid gave birth to her baby girl—her first child with boyfriend Zayn Malik—at the end of September. The couple have not revealed their daughter’s name yet, but they have shared photos of her on occasion. They have deliberately kept the baby’s face out of them though, presumably to protect their little girl’s privacy.
Hadid returned to modeling work this weekend, sharing a selfie of herself in the office. “Would say back 2 work BUT bein a mama is a job like no other,” she captioned the photo. “BACK IN THE OFFICE.”
