It took just a couple weeks in quarantine for Joe Jonas to give his wife Sophie Turner permission to give him a dramatic makeover using her makeup. The actress posted the results on her Instagram story and simultaneously revealed Jonas has a beard now.
Turner used pinks and purples on Jonas’ eyes and added a highlighter. “He finally let me do his makeup,” Turner wrote. “That highlight,” she pointed out in a second post.
Jonas and Turner have both spoken about their experience quarantining together in interviews. Turner admitted it was easier for her than Jonas.
“I’m an introvert; I’m a homebody,” Turner started, during an interview with Conan O’Brien at the end of March. “If I could stay at home all day, I would so this is great for me. I leave the house once a day anyway to walk my dogs and then that’s it so. I see how people are finding it difficult, but I don’t understand how people are really struggling to practice social distancing. I’m like all you have to do is stay at home and like get drunk at home, right?”
With her and Jonas, “Everything seems to be working in my favor here because Joe’s a real social butterfly so I struggle to lock him down and have him just spend time with me so it’s like prison for him [being in quarantine], but it’s great for me,” she added later.
Jonas, meanwhile, praised the experience in an interview with Andy Cohen on Instagram Live this week.
“I think for us, it is nice to have each other during this time, but I think it can be [different] for a lot of different people,” he said, according to E!. “We got married last year, so naturally just wanting to be together, it’s a really special time.”
Jonas said he’s cooking more for his British wife. “I am trying to get my British delicacies down,” Jonas added playfully. “For us it has been wonderful… the thing I would encourage other couples is to find fun creative ways to have a date night with one another.”
