Kylie Jenner used her massive platform yesterday—in between posting Instagram Stories promoting her Kylie Skin products—to once again encourage her young fans to take social distancing seriously. She also added a baffling claim to it: That her decision to hide her pregnancy with Stormi two years ago prepared her for self-quarantine during a global pandemic.
“Another daily reminder to take this social distancing seriously and self quarantine,” she wrote. “I’m on day 8. My pregnancy prepared me for this. 😩 I didn’t leave the house for months.”
Jenner voluntarily hid her pregnancy in 2017 to early 2018 and avoided being photographed. She still filmed Keeping Up With the Kardashians at the time and was able to see friends and family privately.
Now, she doesn’t have that same freedom: The Kardashian-Jenner sisters are all quarantining separately, Kim Kardashian revealed on her Instagram last night. “[I] miss my sisters but we are all social distancing and staying away from each other all separately self quarantined,” Kardashian wrote. “It’s hard but we have to do this for our safety and for everyone else’s. PLEASE do not ignore the severity of the warnings to stay inside to stop the spread of this virus. We will all get through this!”
