Kate Middleton and first lady Jill Biden stepped out for a joint engagement today in England, with the two women visiting a primary school in Hayle, Cornwall, to highlight early childhood education. They complemented each other in pinks and reds, with the Duchess of Cambridge wearing a striking red Alexander McQueen dress for the meeting. The First Lady wore a white dress and pink blazer.
President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden are set to meet the Queen at Windsor Castle on Sunday. The Queen will be attending her birthday parade, Trooping the Colour, tomorrow.
This is Kate’s first engagement since she and William wrapped up their tour of Scotland on May 27. The Duchess wore several looks on the tour, but among her most edgy ever was the blue tartan Holland Cooper coat she wore to a drive-in screening of Disney’s film Cruella. Kate accessorized with heels and earrings borrowed from the Queen and wore her hair in a ponytail.
