On Saturday, Jennifer Lopez recreated a scene from her “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” music video—and she documented the moment on her Instagram grid. If you haven’t noticed already, she looks just as fantastic as she did at the start of the century.
“As I reflect on the fact that it’s the #JLo20thAnniversary, I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for being with me, loving me and supporting me through all the ups and downs,” she wrote. “Thank you so much for all the love over the past 20 years!! I love you so much!!”

She posted the video, below to celebrate the 20th anniversary of her second album, J.Lo. “Happy 20th Anniversary to my 2nd album J.Lo!!!!,” she wrote. “Had a little fun at a recent shoot 😎 #Throwback #LoveDontCostAThing #JLO20thAnniversary #LoveDontCostAThingChallenge @jlobeauty #JLOBeauty.”
In the recreated clip, Lopez wears a long white coat over a cropped T-shirt with her face on it and pairs the look with white jeans. If you’ll recall from the iconic early aughts music video, she takes off her jewelry and sunglasses. Then, she moves the camera out of the way before she takes off her top.

No matter which video you’re watching, you’re looking at the exact same J.Lo. She looks exactly the same in this updated version as she did 20 years ago (though that new t-shirt is a very trendy upgrade).
Lopez celebrated her 2001 album in the same week that she graced the stage at Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s inauguration ceremony. She performed “This Land Is Your Land” and “America the Beautiful.” Halfway through the latter, she threw in part of her hit “Let’s Get Loud.”
Twitter was split on the decision, but it’s safe to say (no matter how you felt), this was the general reaction to the surprise move:
