Jennifer Lawrence, who married Cooke Maroney last October, has spent most of the pandemic out of the public eye. She reemerged in New York City on Monday, where she was photographed with Maroney on a walk. She wore a nice floral dress, a mask, and white sneakers. She accessorized with a dark green purse…and a bottle of wine, which, understandable: Most New Yorkers, along with many other people throughout the country, have been quarantining for five-plus months at this point. The look’s a real COVID-time mood. Maroney was also carrying a bottle.
J.Law hasn’t really been photographed by paparazzi since the end of February, before quarantine started. The actress also hasn’t given many interviews about her personal life, but last June, she spoke on Catt Sadler’s NAKED With Catt Sadler podcast about how she fell in love with Maroney, then her fiancé.
“Definitely [my idea is you get married once, you do it for life],” she started. “I don’t know. It was just, it was so organic. I don’t know, I haven’t talked about it yet in an interview setting. I definitely wasn’t at a place where I was like, ‘I’m ready to get married.’ I just met Cooke and I wanted to marry him. We wanted to marry each other. We wanted to commit fully. He’s my best friend so I want to legally bind him to me forever. And fortunately the paperwork exists for such a thing. It’s the greatest. You find your favorite person in the planet and you’re like you can’t leave. So I wanted to take that offer.”
