Harry Styles gave a little update on how he’s doing as he self-quarantines during an interview with 1Xtra radio yesterday. Styles is being both productive—learning new languages—and also taking self-care seriously with face masks. It’s a weird situation, he said, but he’s making the most of it.
When asked by 1Xtra Residency host Fenn O’Meally how he’s doing and whether he’s happy, Styles said, “It’s a little difficult but it’s all right. I’m lucky I’m with friends in our little safe self-isolation pod. It’s a very strange time but we’re just being careful, listening to music, playing games, doing some face masks, you know, the classic quarantine stuff!” Styles added that he’s also “checking on people.”
It’s a great time to pick up something new though, he said. “Now is the perfect time to learn a new skill or try a new hobby or something, right?” he told O’Meally. “We have nothing but time. I was learning Italian, and I was doing some sign language classes.”
Styles has kept a pretty minimum presence on social media. On March 10, he shared information about his upcoming Love on Tour Australian concert dates, slotted for this November.
Styles’ tour was supposed to start in Europe this April 15 before moving to North America in June. His site has not officially announced any concert dates being postponed, although given the coronavirus pandemic, it would not be surprising if many of the tour dates were pushed back.
