Three years ago, Selena Gomez split from Justin Bieber for the last time after nearly a decade of being on-off. He married Hailey Baldwin months later, and that shock rebound prompted Selena to process, heal, and ultimately close that chapter of her life publicly with her October 2019 Rare singles “Lose You to Love Me” and “Look at Her Now.”
Selena is happily single now. And Hailey made it clear on Instagram this week she is supportive of her husband’s ex. Instagram celeb news account PopFaction noticed that Hailey quietly liked Vogue’s Instagram of Selena’s new cover with the magazine.

Hailey’s like on Vogue’s Instagram of Selena.
This is the first time in over a year that Hailey has liked an Instagram of Selena. Hailey last made headlines for liking a Selena Instagram in October 2019. Selena’s friend Raquelle Stevens had posted a photo of Selena celebrating her singles “Lose You to Love Me” and “Look at Her Now” with her friends, and Hailey double-tapped. The move helped defuse speculation at the time that she took issue with Selena singing about her husband.
Hailey received intense backlash on Instagram then after she posted an Instagram Story of herself listening to Summer Walker’s “I’ll Kill You” minutes after “Lose You to Love Me” came out. Hailey later responded to speculation that her post was about Selena, calling it “BS.”
Selena defended Hailey in her Instagram Live at the time, though she never named her directly. She did give a pointed message to the trolls though: “I do not stand for women tearing women down,” Selena said. “And I will never, ever be by that. So please be kind to everyone. It doesn’t matter what the situation is. If you’re my fans, don’t be rude to anybody, please. Don’t go off and say things that you just feel in the moment. And just please, from me, know that that’s not my heart. My heart is only to release things that I feel that are me and that I’m proud of. And that’s all that I’ll say, yeah.”
In the months that passed, the Selena-Hailey-Justin drama died down. And this past December, a source told Entertainment Tonight where Hailey, Justin, and Selena stood on fans still pitting Hailey against Selena: They wanted it to stop.
“Selena, Justin and Hailey are all tired of the Selena vs. Hailey narrative at this point,” the source said. “It’s exhausting for everyone, and they just want people to move on so they can move on too and not focus on any further negativity or past situations.”
