Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas have only been together a few weeks but their honeymoon phase is in full effect, and a quarantine isn’t changing that. The couple was photographed walking and kissing outside for the second time in a week when they were walking de Armas’ dog on Saturday. California has a shelter-in-home order in effect, so it’s one of their rare sightings outside. But the pair has demonstrated a love for PDA: They were first photographed kissing on a quarantine walk on March 23.
Affleck and de Armas only recently started dating, Entertainment Tonight reported last week.
“Ben and Ana have been dating for a few weeks and are enjoying each other’s company,” a source told the network. “The couple met while filming [upcoming psychological thriller] Deep Water in Louisiana and instantly had a connection.”
“Ben is sober and in a really good place and Ana respects him for the process he’s going through,” the source continued. “Ben and Ana are still early into their relationship, but it’s been fun and exciting for both.”
The couple worked on Deep Water this past fall. But it’s really just in the last month that their new romance has become public. Affleck and de Armas also went on at least two trips together: one to Cuba and another to Costa Rica, where fans and paparazzi photographed them together. Affleck also took photos of de Armas that she later posted on Instagram. She didn’t give him credit, so he commented “photo credit pls” to jokingly call her out. It’s the closest the two have gotten to making their relationship Instagram official so far.
