When it comes to celebrity beauty routines, it’s not uncommon for the products to be out of reach. Whether due to their popularity, price point, or priority (yes, you need another moisturizer), we often have to pick and choose when to experience some of the products recommended by our favorite A-listers. Yet in the latest installment of our Go to Bed with Me series starring Euphoria’s Sydney Sweeney, the odds are likely very high that one of her holy grail products is already nestled in your medicine cabinet.

The beauty product in question? None other than Vaseline Cocoa Butter Rich Conditioning Jelly. The 24-year-old actress revealed it’s one of her go-to items, as she uses it not only to help take off excess eye makeup at the end of the day, but as an eye cream as well.

In the video, she reveals that her love of the product began when she would apply Vaseline to her eyebrows and eyelashes in middle school to attempt to see if they would really grow in volume. Instead, something else happened. “I realized it helped take my eye makeup off really gently,” Sweeney shares. “I just never liked the harsh rubbing of eye makeup.”

The inexpensive skin savior has a history that goes way back. Used for centuries in Indigenous communities for its healing properties, it was trademarked in 1865 when chemist Robert Chesebrough patented the petroleum jelly formula, which he named Vaseline. And although it’s meant to help heal cracked, dry skin, it also has a lot of other beauty benefits, from aiding in wound healing to preventing moisture loss.
