Swiss flavor, fragrance, and cosmetic ingredients manufacturer Givaudan announced on Wednesday, August 27, that it will be renewing its management team in 2026.
Christian Stammkoetter, who was previously President of Asia, Middle East & Africa and a member of the Executive Committee at Danone, is joining Givaudan and will succeed Gilles Andrier as Chief Executive Officer, effective March 1, 2026.
After 30 years with the Givaudan Group, including 20 at its helm, Gilles Andrier will stand as a candidate to succeed Calvin Grieder, who has announced his intention to step down as Chairman of the Board of Directors at the next Annual General Meeting on March 19, 2026.
2030 growth targets
The announcement of this management transition comes alongside the group’s publication of its new targets for 2030. Givaudan is aiming for average sales growth of 4-6% on a like-for-like basis and average free cash flow of over 12%.
To this end, the group intends to actively pursue its external growth policy by seizing acquisition opportunities in line with its strategy.
With regard to its Fragrance & Beauty division, Givaudan intends to continue expanding its capabilities in the premium market for biotechnology-based cosmetic ingredients, as well as across the entire skin care and makeup solutions segment, building in particular on the acquisition of b.kolor in 2024.
