Ben Affleck got his chance last night to support Jennifer Lopez at her own movie premiere after she stepped out as his plus one multiple times for his over the fall. The actor joined his girlfriend at the Los Angeles premiere of her movie Marry Me. Lopez took the sartorial spotlight, wearing a bridal white lace Giambattista Valli mini dress with Jimmy Choo heels. He complemented her in a black suit.
The two were very affectionate on the red carpet, with Affleck kissing Lopez’s head and cuddling her:
Lopez appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing today, where she spoke a little about how they never expected to get back together. “Yeah, I don’t think anyone was more surprised than us,” she said. “No, you never could [imagine it would become full circle], that something like that could happen. It’s a beautiful thing.” She also confirmed to DeGeneres that “it’s true” that she’s in love with Affleck.

Lopez spoke to Rolling Stone in an interview released earlier this week about why she doesn’t foresee her and Affleck breaking up again this second time around. “I don’t think we would have got back together if we thought that was where it was headed,” she started. “We feel like what we found again is so much more important, and how we protect that and how we live our lives—what to share, what not to share—is the balance that we have now, the benefit of experience and the wisdom that we gained over the years.”
