Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are visiting New York City this week as both are scheduled to appear at the Global Citizen Live event in Central Park. While here, they’re doing some sight-seeing and some diplomatic work, according to Reuters. Today, Meghan and Harry dropped by the United Nations to meet Secretary-General Amina J. Mohammed.
Photos of Meghan making her way through the U.N. building show she chose to wear a striking tan monochrome outfit, including a long coat over flowing bell bottom slacks and tan heels. Reuters has the full length photo here while photos of Meghan exiting the U.N. give a glimpse of the look, as seen below:
Meghan seems to be favoring monochrome ensembles during her trip, as can be seen from her recent outing to Melba’s restaurant for lunch with Prince Harry. The Duchess of Sussex can be seen wearing crimson pants and a short jacket to match with red heels:
193 world leaders have returned to the United Nations this past week to discuss efforts to fight climate change and COVID-19, two of the biggest topics discussed anywhere in recent months. The Duke and Duchess will be urging richer countries to share one billion doses of COVID-19 vaccines with other nations during their appearance at Global Citizen Live.
“It was a lovely meeting,” Meghan told reporters as she left the building.
She and Harry recently launched their own foundation, Archewell, which has a production arm as well. Archewell has teamed up with Global Citizen to work on equitable vaccine distribution.
“This partnership has been raising awareness about vaccine inequity, supporting vaccine dose sharing, reducing COVID-19 misinformation, and improving public-private collaboration,” it says on Archewell’s website.
Meghan also stopped by the memorial site for the World Trade Center on Thursday, attending with New York Governor Kathy Hochul and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. There she appeared again in solid color, choosing black:
