Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been living in California for more than a year now, and they’ve long been settled at their Montecito, Santa Barbara home, where, next month, baby Archie will turn 2 years old.
This is the family’s second Easter in California (and in a pandemic), and Archie’s last one as an only child before his little sister is born this summer. Per Hello!, the family plans to stay at home again this year to share the holiday with their toddler.
These Easter plans make total sense, considering we are still in a pandemic and L.A. is still working to vaccinate all of its residents.
In their March 7 bombshell interview with Oprah, Meghan and Harry revealed several things about Archie, including that his favorite words and phrases to stay at the time were “drive safe” and “hydrate!”
Harry added that his new private life with his family allows him to enjoy quality time with his son: “The highlight for me is sticking him on the back of the bicycle in his little baby seat and taking him on these bike rides, which is something I was never able to do when I was young. I can see him on the back and he’s got his arms out and he’s going ‘Woooo!’ Chatting, chatting, chatting, and he’s going, ‘Palm tree! House!’ and all this stuff.”
Maybe tomorrow his favorite thing to say will be “Easter bunny.”
