Donald Trump Mocked After Supreme Court Throws Out His Election Challenge Lawsuit: ‘Try Judge Judy’

Now that the Supreme Court has put and end to Donald Trump’s Hail Mary election challenge, folks on Twitter are dragging him that he can try Judge Judy to see if she’d hear his case.

Donald Trump‘s last ditch legal challenge to the 2020 presidential election results is toast. The U.S. Supreme Court on Dec. 11. rejected a Trump-backed long-shot lawsuit brought by the Texas attorney general that sought to throw out voting results in four states won by President-Elect Joe Biden. Now that the highest court in the land has dashed Trump’s last legal hope of trying to claim victory, he’s getting trolled on Twitter that he can still try TV’s most famous jurist, Judge Judy Sheindlin.

Though the legendary TV judge is ending her long running daytime show after 25 years this season, Twitter users say they’d love to see how she’d deal with his case. User @BabeTruth2 tweeted, “It’s not over yet. Trump still has Judge Judy, The People’s Court, Night Court and the mall food court to plead his case,” while @meralee727 wrote, “I guess Trump’s only option at this point is Judge Judy.”

User @girlsreallyrule thinks Judy wouldn’t be a good fit for Trump, tweeting, “For all of you saying Trump’s only option left is Judge Judy, you need to understand something right here and now: she wouldn’t tolerate his antics, either…and also, he is terrified of smart women that he can’t overtly sexualize,” then added, “I kinda want to see it.”

CNN’s White House Correspondent Jim Acosta had even said with a straight face two days ago on Dec. 9 that Judge Judy was Trump’s last resort. After host Anderson Cooper said that it seemed like Trump’s legal options were over, Jim snarked, “He lost Pennsylvania, but he still has the state of denial Anderson,” before adding, that the Trump legal team said they were going to continue with challenges. Jim said it was “unclear where they would go after the Supreme Court. Maybe its Judge Judy or the People’s Court. That remains to be seen, but Trump and his legal team want to keep fighting.”

Trump really does have nowhere left to go after SCOTUS shot down the last ditch challenge. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton asked the Supreme Court for permission to sue Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, all states that Joe Biden won, over their voting processes. The attorney generals in 18 states that Trump won — all of whom are Republican — backed Paxton’s bid before SCOTUS, as did 126 Republican members of Congress. But the will of the American voters stands, and at some point Trump is going to have to come to terms with the fact that he lost the presidential election fair and square and that democracy has prevailed.
