K-Pop Stans Flood Twitter Hashtag for MillionMAGAMarch With Pancake Pics To Sabotage It – Memes

The K-pop army has assembled, once again — this time to overtake a Twitter hashtag for a pro-Donald Trump rally! The event has applied for a permit that would allow 10,000 people to attend in Washington, D.C.

If you look up #MillionMAGAMarch on Twitter, you’ll be greeted with a timeline of pancake pictures. This is thanks to the doing of the K-pop stans, who joined forces to overtake the Million MAGA March’s Twitter hashtag on Nov. 13! The hashtag was originally created to promote a rally for Donald Trump, who is stirring unrest among his supporters with continued allegations of voter fraud after many media outlets declared Joe Biden to be the next president of the United States on Nov. 7.

The rally — which has filed a permit application for 10,000 people to attend the event — is set to take place in Washington, D.C. on Nov. 14, according to the Washingtonian. The rally will reportedly end with a march to the Supreme Court, and to sabotage MAGA supporters’ attempts to connect on Twitter this Saturday, K-pop stans flooded the #MillionMAGAMarch hashtag with pancake pictures. You can take a look at some of best below.

“Just a kpop stan, trying to ruin the #MillionMAGAMarch with photos of pancakes. look at this one, it’s a whole coral reef on a pancake. i fckn love it,” one K-pop stan tweeted over a stack of notably BLUE pancakes, and another fellow K-pop devotee wrote over a pancake GIF, “#MillionMAGAMarch A KPop INFINITE Stan trying to ruin this thread with Pancakes.”

The trend soon caught on to people outside the K-pop fandom, who loved the idea of spamming Trump’s supporters with pancakes while simultaneously staying safe at home instead of counter-protesting in person. “The kpop stans are hilarious. So we are all just spamming the #MillionMAGAMarch tomorrow with all kinds of pancake love, huh? Let’s have fun then,” one such person tweeted, adding, “NO COUNTER PROTESTING IN D.C TOMORROW.” People started getting creative with their pancake posts beyond the buttermilk variety, like one person who resurfaced an old pancake challenge from Season 10 of RuPaul’s Drag Race:

Although the election was called on Nov. 7, Trump has yet to formally concede to Biden and his administration has filed multiple lawsuits in an attempt to challenge the election results. However, Biden — along with his running mate Kamala Harris, who is now the vice president-elect — both delivered victory speeches after the election was called.
