For Outer Banks star Madelyn Cline, maintaining her skin care routine is more than just keeping her face clean and healthy.
“Skin care is massively important to me. My mom instilled that into my brain from a pretty young age,” she says in our latest episode of Go to Bed with Me. “For me in particular, at night, it’s super important because it’s my ritual. It’s my time where I don’t have to talk to anyone, I don’t have to be on my phone. All it is is just me being by myself with myself. It’s almost kind of like a meditation. And it really, really helps me wind down.”

Cline’s routine consists of eight staples, or, as she endearingly calls them, her “ride or dies.” She starts off with Johnson’s Baby Oil with Shea & Cocoa Butter. “I feel like this might be controversial,” she jokingly says of the product, “but I find that it’s a really easy, cheap way to get rid of makeup on my face. It doesn’t feel harsh.”
Afterward, she opts for Neutrogena’s Rapid Clear Stubborn Acne Cleanser. “What I like about it the most is that it tingles when it’s on your skin, so it feels like it’s really working,” she says.
