Exclusive shooting for ELLE.UA
Ukrainian artist MONATIK presented his fourth solo album “Eternally Dancing Man”, on which he worked for six years. The album includes 32 tracks, including eight duets with leading Ukrainian artists. Especially for ELLE, the musician shot an exclusive photo shoot with the heroes of the album and created an art collage that united all the project participants.
“My attitude towards the release of this album is special. I have been working on it since 2019, and that is why it turned out to be diverse, imbued with emotions and internal metamorphoses. Together with the team, we wanted to approach the presentation in the way we love the most – conceptually and with soul,” notes MONATIK.
Star duets
The album brought together several duets, each of which became a separate musical story. Especially for ELLE MONATIK shared his emotions about each of the collaborations.
About the duet with DOROFEEVA: “ In the universe of “Eternally Dancing Man”, hope always holds a special place. It was like that back in the “Love it Rhythm” era, and it is like that now. I believe that our joint energy with DOROFEEVA will give you the very hope you need, a teleport to a good vibe, a charge of light and positive emotions that we all need so much.”
About the duet with Phil It:
“Phil It has the ability to feel music with his heart and create something very sincere. When I first heard the demo of this song, I wanted to imagine that it was the right and left banks of Kyiv singing to the people of Kyiv. I believe that listeners will feel the warmth and strength that we put together.”
About the Dantes/Durnev trio:
“This track was born from our desire to share the energy of lightness. Dantes and Durnev added to the music that special irony and drive that are so important today. Together we created a space where you can laugh and dance, forgetting about problems at least for a moment.”
About the duet with ROXOLANA:
“ROXOLANA for me is a voice that knows how to combine tenderness and strength. In our collaboration, we combined these two elements together, and something truly emotional came out. This song is about how music heals and inspires.”
About the duet with Alina Pash:
“Alina has always been a symbol of deep Ukrainian authenticity and modernity for me at the same time. Together we created a musical universe where the past and the future meet in one rhythm. This is a track about strength of spirit and faith in one's roots.”
About the duet with OTOY:
“OTOY is the fresh energy of Ukrainian hip-hop, and I believe in its generation. Our joint track is a dialogue of different styles that unexpectedly organically combined. The result is a powerful charge of truth and energy that carries street culture.”
About the duet with KAZKA:
“KAZKA has a unique magic in its sound, which always creates a special atmosphere. In our song, this magic is intertwined with the rhythm of “Eternally Dancing Man”. Together we presented a story where sadness and light find harmony.”
About the duet with KOLA:
“KOLA is the voice of a generation, open and honest. In our work together, she opened up in a new way, and this inspired me too. We wanted to create a song that would reflect sincerity and belief in true emotions.”
