TNT Group: An innovative bell-shaped cap for Jil Sander

TNT Group and Coty closely collaborated to create the bell-shaped cap for Olfactory Series 1, Jil Sander’s new high-end fragrance collection.

The aluminum cap features a white lacquered finish and a black silk-screen printing, complemented by a recycled PP insert that is flush for aesthetic appeal and has a matte effect thanks to a specific surface treatment.

Behind the scenes, designers, engineers and technicians worked diligently to ensure the cap was crafted from a single piece of pressed aluminum, uniformly thick and smooth, blending finesse with solidity. Achieving an elegant, bright and uniform appearance for the white finish posed a challenge. Additionally, the recycled PP content was optimized to maintain its mechanical properties, which are essential for securely attaching the cap to the pump of this refillable bottle.
