Jojo Siwa has slammed fan-favorite ‘Dance Moms’ star Christi Lukasiak over her ‘ignorant’ comments about the show’s choreographer Gianna Martello.
JoJo Siwa has thrown her support behind former Dance Moms choreographer Gianna Martello, who was Abby Lee Miller‘s right-hand woman on the show. The Nickelodeon star took to TikTok on December 5 in response to a video of fan-favorite reality star Christi Lukasiak describing the coach, who appeared on the series from 2011 to 2019, as “not nice”. Jojo didn’t hold back, describing Christi’s statement as the “most disgusting and ignorant thing” she’s ever heard. “First of all, Gia is one of the sweetest people in the whole world,” she told her 30 million followers.

“And second of all, she works so hard every single week for so many people, including Chloe [Lukasiak].” The 17-year-old hitmaker continued, “She had one of the most stressful jobs on the show. She was in charge of choreographing every single number. Now, yes, of course everyone has their moments and everyone isn’t nice 24/7, including you Christi. The thing is, is you don’t need to say that somebody is not a nice person. I’m sure you’re a very nice person, even though the experience that I’ve had with you, you were not nice to me.”
To drive her point home, Jojo added, “You actually made a very rude comment to me, but it may have just been a moment.” The Dance Moms star then fired back with her own TikTok video, saying she had “no idea” what Jojo’s experience on the show was like. “I have to take her word for it,” Christi said. “If she had an amazing, positive experience, then I’m really happy that that’s how it went. And I honestly just wish mine had been a little similar.”

While many fans appreciated Jojo being so candid about her reality TV experience, others accused her of “invalidating” Christi’s emotions and experience. “Why does Jojo constantly invalidate others opinions? Like its good that Jojo had a good experience but she also came on after the show had fame,” the top comment on her TikTok read, while another follower wrote, “Don’t go invalidating someone else experience bc you never had the same experience.”
