The apron serves as the collection’s keystone, “a singular object encapsulating manifold meanings,” reinvented as an emblem of dignity and effort, embodying both practicality and ornamentation. Via substantial cotton, leather, lace, and poplin, designer Miuccia Prada delves into the concept of duality: robustness and gentleness, profession and attention, usability and elegance, underscoring that attire can function as both amusement and safeguard.
