< p > TSUM Kiev opens a new artseizon dedicated to the work of Alla Gorskaya and Victor Zaretsky & mdash; Representatives of the Sixties Movement, who have laid a new language of Ukrainian monumental art, combining the power of image with the ideas of freedom, dignity and national identity. The center of attention & mdash; 7 showcases inspired by their paintings. These are not museum replicas, but new reading: a modern visual interpretation that immerses in the energy of images, colors and & nbsp; life of talented spouses.
< blockquote > < p > & laquo; we sought not only to present the work of Gorsk and Zaretsky, but also to create an experience in which the viewer feels the power of their energy. Spouse’s work & mdash; Not the artifacts of the past, but a living code of culture. < P > The project was implemented in partnership with the Alla Gorsk and Viktor Zaretsky Foundation, founded by Elena Zaretskaya & Amp; Mdash; The granddaughter of artists. Part of the works of Gorsk and Zaretsky, unfortunately, can only be viewed online, so citation of their individual works in the showcases of TSUM is a way to remind of the important.
< blockquote > < p >& laquo; when we talk about the preservation of memory of Sixties and work with inheritance, it is important to look for ways to new views and contemporary rethinking of their creativity, conveying the meanings and ideas that artists laid down to different audiences. The showcases of the Tsum, in my opinion, & mdash; It is an incredible point in intersection of visual code of Ukrainian artists with the life of Kyivans & raquo ;, & mdash; Elena Zaretska.
