It’s been months since Lady Gaga stepped out at an award show, and her hiatus didn’t end tonight. The singer skipped the Grammys despite being nominated (and winning) this year for her and Bradley Cooper’s work from A Star Is Born. Cooper didn’t attend the ceremony either.
Gaga has three nominations at this year’s show: Song of the Year (“Always Remember Us This Way”), Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media (A Star Is Born), and Best Song Written for Visual Media (“I’ll Never Love Again” Film Version). She has won two of the three so far: Best Compilation Soundtrack and Best Song Written for Visual Media.
Gaga actually won two Grammys last year for “Shallow”: Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Song Written for Visual Media. She won a separate award, Best Pop Solo Performance, for “Jolene (Where Do You Think You’re Goin’?)”
TMZ reports that next week, Lady Gaga will be at the Super Bowl, so the public won’t have to wait long to see her.
Earlier this week, Gaga broke her silence on a small scandal when it appeared one of the first new singles from her upcoming album, “Stupid Love,” leaked. She had a good-humored response on Twitter, writing to her Little Monsters, “can y’all stop”

Gaga’s last big press event was in September, when she celebrated the launch of her Haus Laboratories beauty line. She dressed up in a sheer black dress, with her hair long and platinum. She has since dyed it pink.
As recently as December, she was posting selfies of herself with her bubblegum-hue hair, chilling over the holidays.
