What Scott Disick Was Doing During Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s Legal Wedding

While Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker got legally married at a Santa Barbara courthouse yesterday, her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick was surprisingly active on Instagram, making his whereabouts well-known, along with who he was with: three important people who seemingly weren’t with Kardashian at her wedding.

Disick spent his day poolside with his and Kardashian’s three children. Reign, 7, appeared on his Instagram first, jumping in the water. Disick and Kardashian’s other two children, 9-year-old daughter Penelope and 12-year-old son Mason appeared in a later Instagram Story.

A recent episode of The Kardashians that documented Barker’s proposal to Kardashian showed how unhappy Penelope was when her mother shared over FaceTime that she was marrying Barker. Reign, Mason, and Penelope weren’t invited to attend the engagement dinner Kris Jenner hosted for Barker and Kardashian after they got engaged because they were too young.

“Penelope took it hard,” Kourtney said in a confessional from the proposal night in October. “I think it’s a big change for her. And even though she loves Travis, I think she doesn’t know what that means. You know, is that taking me away? I think she just doesn’t know what it means.”

“I do wish my kids were here,” she continued, as only Barker’s kids were with them for the engagement celebration. “I think it would have made them feel more included in the decision kind of and part of the surprise. I know that my mom made that decision. And it probably wasn’t her best.”

Kardashian made it clear at the end of that episode that her priority was getting along with Disick as a co-parent although she was reluctant to have a conversation about their relationship at the time. “Travis and I don’t know what our plans are,” Kourtney said. “We don’t know when we’re getting married. We don’t know if we’re moving into the same house. It’s not like these big decisions that are going to affect the kids are like known. You know, I’m sensitive to Scott and his feelings. Someday, we’ll all be able to get along. We have to. The kids feel it. And I think that’s the most important thing.”
