This year, Timothée Chalamet and Eiza González are taking on the role of warm-weather romance ambassadors. Just days after photos of the two kissing in Cabo San Lucas emerged, Chalamet and González were photographed again yesterday, this time passionately kissing in a pool at their hotel.
Chalamet and González have not discussed their relationship status, and no details about how they met or how long their relationship has been going on have been reported.
González isn’t likely to talk about length about Chalamet in interviews either. The 30-year-old actress explained to Latina in 2017 that she purposely keeps her relationships private. “I don’t think that it’s necessary [to share details about my private life],” González said. “I think that your life as public person is already so exposed. I’m being linked to people because it’s my environment. It’s like your school. We know each other. It’s people I surround myself with. I don’t know why it’s such a big thing.”
Chalamet has mostly kept his love life out of interviews as well, but he did discuss love as the meaning of life in an interview with Harry Styles for i-D. “Live and let live,” he said. “Love deeply. Love openly. And know that the wise man knows he’s ignorant but cultivates more understanding.”
