Yesterday, Gigi’s father Mohamed took down an Instagram post of a poem he wrote to his future grandchild after it sparked a fan frenzy that Gigi had already given birth. (He clarified to a fan, according to Us Weekly, that actually, the baby isn’t here yet.)
Gigi’s sister Bella’s caption on the first photo she shared on her Instagram of her with Gigi earlier in her pregnancy also convinced some fans that maybe Gigi had already welcomed her child (“june 11, 2020 …🖤” Bella wrote. “two buns in the oven except mine is from my burger and gigi’s is from @zayn ✨👼🏼✨ i love you both so freaking much -can’tstopcrying 🥺”). But speculation is just that: There’s been no official family confirmation or announcement of Gigi and Zayn’s baby arriving.

She explained why in July: “I have been taking a lot of pictures of my bump and sending it to friends and family and it’s been very cute and exciting and I’m trying to document it well because I’ve heard a lot of people say obviously make sure you don’t miss it,” she said during an Instagram Live then. “And I will be sharing stuff like that in the future. I just am not rushed to do it, and I feel like right now I just want to experience it ,and I write in my journal a lot, and I just don’t want to worry about waking up everyday during my pregnancy and like worry about having to like look cute or post something and like so, a lot of questions were about that and I just wanted to do that.”
