Joe Jonas started this Friday morning by posting an adoring birthday tribute to his wife, Sophie Turner, on Instagram. The singer shared a gorgeous photo of Turner and wrote, “Happy Birthday to the love of my life. Life is better with you. ❤️” She hadn’t liked the post yet or responded to it, but it’s only a matter of time.
Jonas’ tribute comes after reports surfaced last week that the couple are expecting their first child together later this year. Turner and Jonas have not confirmed the news, although they’ve both been active on social media since.
Jonas recently shared two new photos of Turner in addition to his birthday post today. He posted one of her on Valentine’s Day, captioning it with a simple heart.
He also shared a video of Turner and him in an Amsterdam pub yesterday. “Amsterdam Cup of Joe episode has my favorite person joining me @sophiet,” he wrote.
E! reported last week that the couple’s first child is due in the summer. A source said Turner is in the “early days” of pregnancy. Still, Turner and Jonas are “extremely excited” about welcoming their first child. “They told their families recently and everyone is ecstatic and so happy for them,” that source said.
When the news first came out, a separate source told JustJared that Turner and Jonas are purposely keeping Turner’s pregnancy quiet. “The couple is keeping things very hush hush but their friends and family are super excited for them,” that source said.
