Chicago West seems to know that we all need a little cheering up right now. On her Instagram Saturday, Kim Kardashian shared a video of her two-year-old daughter singing “Rain Rain Go Away” to her baby brother, Psalm. She’s also wearing butterfly wings while she sings. Come. On.
“Rain, rain go away, come again another day,” she sings. “Little Psalmy wants to play. Rain, rain go away.”
That kid might not know it, but the world needed to hear that song right now, when self-quarantine, social distance, and coronavirus are all on our minds. I’m currently adding this to my playlist of uplifting songs that, right now, is mostly just Dolly Parton’s “Light of a Clear Blue Morning.”
Kardashian looks to be spending a lot of time with her family right now. On Sunday, she posted a picture of her husband, Kanye West, on a bike looking out at a beautiful landscape.
She also posted a video of her kids building a cardboard-box fort in their house. In the video, you can hear Kardashian’s six-year-old daughter North, who’s still in her striped button-up pajamas, say, “Mommy’s coming inside.” When Kardashian takes a peek in, she shows the fort, which is actually pretty impressive. The kids have decked it out with pillows, sheets, and plenty of tunnels to crawl through.
Besides getting invited into a seriously cool fort, Kardashian seems to be spending time scrolling through old photos. Here’s one she shared yesterday from 2009, which was just two years after Keeping Up With the Kardashians first aired.
Add “get super nostalgic” to the list of indoor activities for the coming weeks.
