Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott welcomed their second child early this year, but sources told Us Weekly that talks about a possible engagement between the couple have been kept “super private.”
They apparently have “swerved the topic for years,” though they have “not ruled it out.”
Jenner and Scott’s relationship has been off and on since 2017, and Jenner also goes back and forth about possibly marrying her partner and the father of her kids.
“She does like her independence but can’t imagine herself long term with anyone other than Travis,” they said.
“The priority has been about taking care of the kids,” the source continued. “Keeping things between themselves calm and chilled and setting up boundaries that will give them the best chance of staying together in the long term.”
Their daughter Stormi was born in February of 2018, and they had another February baby when they welcomed their son on February 2. Both of them are “very hands on” with their children though they “count themselves lucky to have a lot of help at their disposal.”
That includes assistance when they need “time for date nights” and when they want to “enjoy their space when they need it.”
“It’s all good,” the source said of their relationship status. This has not always been the case. After Stormi’s birth in 2018, they were doing well, but in October of 2019 Jenner and Scott decided to take a break.
At the time, a source said, “Kylie still loves Travis and this isn’t considered a full breakup to either of them.”
Reconciliation rumors popped over the years that followed, but in August 2021 it was reported that they were expecting a second child. They’d been seen together in Miami just a few months earlier. Since then, they have appeared frequently at public events, welcomed their son, and shown up to support one another at events and premieres.
