Kylie and Kendall Jenner Broke Social Distancing to Vacation in Utah With Friends

More details have emerged about where in the world Kylie and Kendall Jenner spent their Fourth of July—and how many people were with them, despite California and the CDC’s recommendation that people avoid prolonged, unmasked contact with those outside of their household due to the coronavirus pandemic and risk of spreading the disease. California has also prohibited non-essential travel and is under a shelter-in-home order. Those guidelines did not stop Kylie and Kendall from traveling.

The Jenner sisters are spending this week at Utah’s five-star Amangiri Resort in Canyon Point. By air, that’s a four hour-plus flight. (Kylie reportedly used her private jet to previously fly to Wyoming.) By car, it’s eight and a half hours from Hidden Hills, where Kylie lives, and Beverly Hills, where Kendall lives. Their older sister Kourtney used a private jet to vacation there with her family for Memorial Day. Why did she go in the middle of a global pandemic? According to E!, she sought “a nice change of scenery.”

Kendall and Kylie have posted ample photography of their stay at Amangiri Resort. Yesterday, Kylie made it clear it’s not just the two and their friend Fai Khadra—it’s an entire group who aren’t wearing masks and doing activities together, including hiking and swimming in a pool.

This isn’t the first time the Jenner sisters have disregarded the coronavirus pandemic and their state’s rules around it. In April, Kendall went on a seven hour-plus road trip with Devin Booker, with whom she wasn’t quarantining, to Sedona, Arizona. According to TMZ’s source, “they took a road trip for some much-needed air.” Kendall, for what it’s worth, lives in a 6,625-square-foot Beverly Hills estate.

Kylie, meanwhile, went to Wyoming with Kim and Kourtney’s families to celebrate North’s birthday last month. She has also been out to a friend’s birthday party as well as Bootsy Bellows, a club that opened for her and her friends despite L.A.’s coronavirus numbers. Kylie did not wear a mask during any of those outings, and Twitter was not happy about that.
